I got a big big Christmas present from Ah Ku and Ah Kim. My 1st ever tricycle. Now i do not need to fight with Nicolas koko and Ashley cheh cheh over their bicycles. I have my very own.

Am so glad i've recovered. Mami said must thank Jesus for healing me.

Not Again???

Mami said that I will be visiting the doctor again tomorrow morning. Why mami? I don't have anymore fever......just a lil' cough?

I just don't understand why Mami is so paranoid when I am sick. Just because Mr. Doc asked Mami to bring me back on Friday if I have not recovered. But I don't have any more fever. Mami is so difficult . . .

Read Koko JR's blog. Koko just went for a holiday, but not for me.... SIGHHH.....

Had a lil' cough for the past week, and yesterday down with MILD fever. Today, ma mi brought me to see a doctor. Got MILD fever only mah.... why cannot go holiday? My fever MILD only. Not high high. It's low low.

Ma mi just told me "Ben Ben... Because you're sick, you cannot go holiday for the next 2 - 3 weeks. Ma mi and Da di will go holiday alone". How can?? Leave me behind with Ah Mah and Kakak. Not fair!

I must run to Kai Yer's house to complaint.... Oops....How to go to Kai Yer's house ah?

Ang-Goo, Ang-Goo . . . . .

Something is terribly wrong with Ma-Mi lately. She has been trying to carry me like a baby (lying down) and tickling my chin saying "Ang-Goo, Ang-Goo". She says that she misses me when i was a baby. She keeps smelling me and asking me "Why no baby smell one?" Then, she'll put all sorts of funny lotion on me to make me smell like a baby.

To my dearest Ma-Mi,

Family......

Mummy was showing me photographs of so many people. Mummy said that they are part of my family, and are the ones who love me very much. Now that I know how to call "Ah Mah", Mah Mah, "Da Dee", "Ma Mee" and "Ti Ti", I am pressured to learn so many more. There are others like "Yeh Yeh", "Ah Ku", "Ah Kim", "Ku Ku", "Ku Cheong", "Ko Ko", "Chie Chie"... See what I mean? Don't you agree it's not an easy task?

Visit to Aquaria

Wah, daddi and mami very free-ah these few days, after the beach trip they took me to see ...iish (fish). Here am I on the way to a place called Aqua-ria, or daddi says the Happy Aquarium in Kay ell See See.


Wah, so many swimming ..iish, hmmm as I remember the only time I ever see ...iish is when Ah-mah comes back from the market and normally they are lying very still . . .

Hooray!! I've finally managed to say "MI MI". Yeh!! Mi Mi doesn't need to pressure me any more. I've managed to call Mi Mi since 2 days ago. Am still practising hard.... but.... Haiyah... So kacang putih. ..... "MI MI".......

Pressured......and Desperate

I'm trying...I'm trying..... Look how hard i've tried.

Mummy has been asking me to call her "Mummy" or "Mi Mi", but I just can't. I can call "Ah Mah" (my favourite), "Di Di" (daddy), "Sheee" (Kakak Sri), "Ti Ti" (Tobin Ti Ti), "Yeeee" (My aunty - 'Law Yee') BUT I just can't call "Mi Mi". I just don't know how to call "Mi Mi". It's so hard.

Can somebody please teach me? I don't want to disappoint my Mi Mi.

Birthday (again . . . )

Not mine but daddy's, but I am confused, see daddy is so much bigger than me, why is he still celebrating his first birthday?

Hilltop Holiday......

Daddy, Mummy and Ah Mah brought me to this place which was very cold. So many familiar faces. Saw Ah Ku Jaimie, Nicolas koko, Ashley che che and many other uncles and aunties from church. Saw Kai Yeh too.

Later on, Daddy brought us to somewhere very beautiful and colourful. Sat on a horse which moved slowly. I thought horses would move faster.


Note: Went to Peacehaven, Genting for a church camp. During break time, we went to the Indoor park in Genting Highlands.

Titi Tobin

Titi Tobin is my cousin. Mummy said Titi Tobin is still a baby. Growing big and strong.

Nag..Nag..Nag

Mummy has been nagging alot lately. She'll say.. "Ben Ben, big boy already. You must learn to obey mummy and daddy" or "Ben Ben, big boy already. You must tell when you want to poo poo" or "Ben Ben, big boy already. You must take your potty when you want to shee shee" .... and the list goes on and on and on.

What do i do? I will only respond by smiling to confuse her . Heh...heh...heh.......

What have I been up to.......

It has been more than a month since daddy and mummy blogged. I have no idea what everyone has been up to. Busy, busy, busy. That's all i hear.

As for me, I have been happy. I have been going to many many places for the past few weekends. I have been busy playing and playing and playing.

Guess what . . . gym class ain't so bad after all, especially when I can go on the slides, burst lots and lots of bubbles and sing really cute songs, like this one

Tunnels and Barrels

Mummy took me to this place with lots of aunties and children yesterday. They sang, they bounced, but worst of all, they loved entering into this long dark drain...... it looked so dark and scary. Mummy was trying to persuade me to enter, but no way am I entering. What if I get trapped in there?? Who's going to help me?? So I refused to enter any of these places.

But horrors, daddy and mummy brought one of these tunnels home and have been pushing, pulling, forcing and generally trying to entice, pursuade me to crawl through one of them . . . *sigh* army training meh????

Took Benjamin for his first class at Gymboree, he didn't take too kindly to crawling through any of the tunnels ~Mummy

Birthday Boy . . .

Mummy has been very busy for the past month. Mummy seems to be missing most of the time. I don't quite understand what's going on. Too confusing. When I look around, Kakak Sri would say "Mummy pergi tengok Tobin Titi lah....".


Everytime I get to see mummy, I'll open my arms towards mummy. Please mummy.....take me out ..... Why is she so "kwai kwai she she" Go here and Go there ... Daddy too hmmmm, something must be a foot . . . .

I found out why... On Sunday Jaimie ah ku took me and ah mah to this nice place with lots of tables and chairs and decorated with lots and lots of balloons and which had lots and lots of yummy food. Soon lots of uncles and aunties started arriving from church and everyone was like so happy to see me and wishing me " HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN BEN ".

YUP! you guess right I turned one on 30 April. Take a look at my birthday cake


It's decorated with my favourite cartoon Barney Hee Hee . . . My balloons too had Barney's on it. Guess what Yeh Yeh and Mah Mah, ku ku Jennifer and ku jiong Darren and cousin Joel came all the way from Ipoh to attend my birthday party.

And I got lots and lots of prezzies . . . . Ha Ha Ha . . . Toys, Toys and more toys to play with.


Wow, what a day . . . why doesn't this happen every other day???

Meet cousin Tobin . . .

You must be wondering who the little baby is. Meet my cousin Tobin Sia Xianhua (Uncle Jaimie says that Xian and Hua is one word . . . just like my Jingguo) He is cute rite, but he seems to sleep alot, mummy says I was once like that too. . . hmmm that must be a long time ago.

Please pray for Tobin, Doctors discovered a hole in his heart, pray that God will do a miracle and seal that hole and keep him strong, Thanks ~daddy~

Bottle Holding pressure

Mummy got influenced lately by Jin Yang DiDi's "holding the bottle and drinking" stance. Now ah, I also have to learn how to hold the bottle and drink . . . Mummy says ah "See Jin Yang DiDi only 7 months old can hold bottle and drink on his own already . . . YOU must also do" *SIGH* babies also got pressure . . .

Hospitalised

OK OK . . . I know everybody must be wondering why this Ben Ben never update the blog. I've had a horrible two weeks. First it started with the flu and fever, then the cough, then phelgm . . . which got Mummy & Daddy pretty worried. They took me to 3 doctors (a personal record) . . . and the final one was not good. The doctor said that I had bad viral infection in the lungs and I have to stay in hospital so that I can recover faster. And to make things worst, a "jeh jeh" grabbed me from mummy arms and poke a long sharp needle into my arm *SOB* *SOB* so painful, I cried and cried for mummy . . . and mummy cried and cried for me too. After that the "jeh jeh" tied a board to my arm so that I cannot move my hand and hurt myself. The result . . . see for youself. (note the bandage on my left arm).

*SIGH* The doctor says I have to have medicine pumped into me through the needle and to breath in a horrible foul smelly medicine through a mask, or else I cannot get better. Wah so much for a little guy like me to handle. Fortunately for me, mummy and kakak stayed with me, and the "jeh jehs" wearing the white and pink uniforms were also very nice.

I am back now but the doctor says that I need to be quarantined for two weeks. *SIGH* no Sunday School and walkies for two weeks.

Walking Action

Daddy & Mummy got me a walker . . . Weee . . . I can now go from one end of the house to another. Daddy says I look like "leong dei goon" (i.e. measuring land official) Ha Ha Ha . . .

Chinese New Year Pixs

Ah finally, ze Chinese New Year pixs . . . Not much of a New Year though, fell ill, had to stay home i.e. Yeh Yeh's house in Ipoh . . . broke out in rashes after one week of fever . . . *Sigh*, but any how, still managed to collect huge ang pows HEE HEE HEE . . .

Ma Ma Ma Mum Mum

OK so mummy's Kong-Xi . . . Kong-Xi lesson didn't work . . . . Ha Ha Ha . . . but I have some new words to share with you all . . . its ma ma ma mum mum . . . very useful when I want food. Mummy and Kakak says I very "manja" ever since I came back from Ipoh, probably influenced by cousin Joel. Daddy is not very happy though, he says I only know how to call ma ma and not pa pa. Don't worry daddy, let me get the hang of ma ma mum mum first then I will start on the pa pa pa pla-y sta-tion 2 . . .

See the other day, don't know what happened, but Daddy and Ah mah kept on laughing . . . . I was looking around to see what they were laughing at, nothing mah . . . but still the laughing continued . . . "kek kek kek . . . so funny-lah boy . . . " daddy said

Am All Confused . . .

For the past month, mummy has been teaching me to say "Mum...Mum....Mee....Mee....Mummy" but I refused. Now, mummy is asking me to say "Kong-Si....Kong-Si". I don't even understand what that means. Worst of all, mummy has been torturing me......or rather, forcing me to put my hands together and shake them. She keeps saying "Boy....Only 2 weeks left. Must learn already. Otherwise Yeh-Yeh will not give you any hong pow". Can somebody please tell me what this is all about?????

Me no baby no more!!

How ironic. This morning, mummy said to me that she misses the time when I was still a lil' baby. So, she didn't allow me to sit or crawl. Everytime i tried to get up, she would push me down and say "Baby, no...no.... You must lie down. Baby doesn't know how to sit up". When i took my stacking cups to bite, mummy would take it away and say "Baby, no...no.... Baby doesn't know how to hold a cup. Ben Ben good baby. Lie down ok? Let mummy carry you and sayang you"

Sigh.....What is wrong with mummy. Me no baby no more!! Oh...and mummy spoke to me with a funny language. It sounds like "ang-goo ang-goo". What is mummy trying to do to me?
